Did Shahid Kapoor wife Mira Raj dig at Kareena

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were together at one point. That was around a decade back. Kareena had then dumped Shahid for Saif Ali Khan, who she later married and has a child with now.

Shahid too got married last to last year to this beautiful girl from Delhi, Mira Rajput. A non-industry girl, Shahid has always spoken about how he loves coming back home to Mira as she gives him the much needed normalcy. Mira has made only one public appearance. That was the Koffee with Karan episode that aired two months back.

For the first time, Mira attended an event and spoke at the event, all alone. At the Event and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) event, she spoke about being a proud housewife. Here's what she said.

"I am a housewife and wear that label with pride. Why can’t you be an accomplished homemaker? Accomplishing could mean anything one has their heart set on. I had a tough pregnancy, bringing Misha (seven-month-old daughter) into this world. Now, I love being at home and spending time with my child. I don’t want to spend an hour with her and then rush to work. I don't want to spend one hour in the day with my child and then rush off to work. Why did I have her then? I want to be there for her as a mother. Seeing her grow up can’t be quantified. She is my baby, not a puppy."

While Mira is busy baby sitting her six months old daughter Misha at home and being the perfect mother, Bebo is painting the town red, post her pregnancy. Within a month of having Taimur, Bebo was back on the sets - working, shooting, doing photoshoots. All this definitely means that Kareena's a trendsetter and she's changing the stereotypical norms that exist in Bollywood. But we wonder if Mira's statement was a rather subtle dig at Bebo's post-pregnancy busy schedule. Your guess is as good as ours.
